Host Family or Residential Accommodation

These are closed group courses and are based on a minimum of 10 students. These run from September to June only. Students are tested and placed in a group according to linguistic ability. These courses are particularly suited to school groups and combine with social and cultural programmes in the afternoons and weekends.

We offer our Groups the choice of being placed in traditional host family accommodation or in residential accommodation in Dublin city centre. Groups who choose the host family option are placed with care to ensure all of the students are near to each other and within a 30 minute journey from the school. Our host family option is a full board package while our residential option allows a choice between full and half board.

Course Details

• Comprehensive Placement Test, written and oral.
• 1 week minimum (except Trinity Examination Course)
• 15 hours per week
• Maximum 15 students per class
• Communicative and Task-based approach
• 12-17 years
• September - June only
• Half day and full day excursions can be arranged at an extra cost

• Anglo-Irish Literature
• English for Special Purposes
• Trinity College London Preparatory course (minimum 2 week course)
