Griffith College, Dublin
GCD enjoys a strong national and international reputation built on over 30 years of experience, located in the former Griffith College Barracks
in Dublin city centre.
GCD is a modern campus developed over the past 10 years with modern accommodation and restaurant facilities added to the old barracks buildings on-site, creating a nice blend of old character and modern architecture. Facilities on-site include the student union, restaurant, college shop, laundry facilities, small sports pitch and basketball court.
Accommodation is provided on-campus in apartment-style. Each apartment consists of two twin bedrooms, one en-suite and one with a bathroom just outside the bedroom and a shared living room/kitchen area per apartment.
Dublin has more green spaces per square kilometre than any other European capital city, making it an extremely picturesque place with many beautiful outside areas for students to enjoy. There are many parks around the city, including Phoenix Park (home to Dublin Zoo), Herbert Park and St Stephen’s Green.
Griffith College Dublin (GCD) is ideally located on the South Circular Road just ten minutes’ walk to the two city cathedrals, Christ Church and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, and only 20 minutes to St Stephen’s Green. This close proximity to the city centre offers students a great opportunity to explore all of Dublin’s cultural highlights throughout their stay.
