Course Location: Dublin City University

Accommodation: Single en-suite rooms; full board.

Cultural Programme: 2 Full Day Excursions & 3 Cultural Visits

Bus Pass: A two-week bus pass is included

This course is intended for all teachers of all subjects who are working or intending to work in bilingual or multilingual schools. The course is explicitly aimed at all subject teachers other than qualified English teachers. 

This 2-week, 30 hour course blends 15 hours of general English refresher and enhancement modules with 15 hours of 'hands-on' pictures 077 (custom).jpgexploration of cutting-edge techniques to make the classroom experience more vibrant and rewarding for both teacher and students. 

This 'task-based' emphasis on a creative use of materials and energy-saving classroom dynamics takes the pressure off teachers and harnesses student energy in a learning focused way - using group work, learning games and the students' competitive spirit. In this way, the teacher's energy is conserved for directing rather than driving student work.
